I am the head of the rebellion over at LUN (Lego Universe News) and I am making a post explaning what our plan is. Once we get a hold of the server program to run LU on a server, we are golden! Then we just need to modify the LU client a bit to hook up to a new server and we have a private server LU! But Lego is not just going to give us the software, so that is where we run into problems. We could make our own, but that would take forever. I do have someone who I am in contact with who may be able to get the software form Lego, but it is a 50/50 chance that they will give it to them. If that works out, that is great, but if it does not... well... Some one named Kelvin has made a offline version of LU already and is working on online, so he may already have the software. If he does then we are golden...again. If that does not work... well things don't look good. I do know someone that is ready to hack LU if needed (remeber i don't encourage this... ) but we will get the software no matter what if this works right. Remember, hacking is bad. I think our other plans will work so no need to worry! Once we got a stable version we will release L.U.P. 2.0 and the server software!
